Play Expo is a gaming event held by Replay Events Ltd offering attendees various different kinds of gaming experiences. Play Expo is one of the events that will be playing host to the Wii U showcase tour, allowing attendees the chance of trying out the upcoming Nintendo hardware. We attended Replay Expo last year, and got a good feel for the event and had a great time. We’re very happy that Shinesparkers have been invited back, allowing us to get hands on with games such as Nintendo Land and New Super Mario Bros U. Nintendo will also be taking along the 3DS XL and games for people to check out.

We shall also be checking out the four distinct types of events at Play Expo. re.playfocuses on classic arcade, retro consoles and vintage computers while  now.play offers the very latest games and upcoming releases. pro.play is a eSports event for competitive gaming tournaments and cos.play will have costume competitions, discussions, artists and anime traders. I wonder if we’ll see any cool Samus cosplayers? We’ll be sure to snap up a few pictures and share what we find!

With such a diverse amount of content, it’s clear that Play Expo is the place to be next week for all your gaming needs.
