Our friend over at Metroid Database, Devin Monnens (CapCom) has donated a very rare and very special item to the Play for Japan relief efforts to raise funds towards the recent Japan disaster. The Metroid Prime Trilogy collectors edition has been signed by Retro Studio’s Michael Kelbaugh (President), Kensuke Tanabe (Producer), Bryan Walker (Director of Development), Ryan Powell (Lead Artist), Chris Voelmann (Technical Artist), Will Bate (Lead Animator) and Aaron Walker (Senior Engineer).
At the time of writing, the item has raised $61.00 USD and will close on April 10 at 23:00:47 PDT. 100% of the final sale price donated to the American Red Cross. We know this item can do so much better and we are confident that the Metroid fan community are a passionate caring bunch, I am certain it can do better so if you have any spare cash and want to bag yourself a very rare item, you should keep your eye on this auction very closely..
